Random Rudeness

I wonder what causes tanks to be rude and/or arrogant. It's not all of them mind you. I did manage to group with a few that were actually decent and thoughtful. I know that tanking is a stressful job and that a lot of pressure is put on you to succeed (the same can be said of healing). But I do not start my random instances with a chip on my shoulder.

I will, however, let you die if:

- You are continually pulling more than you can handle.
- Are not paying attention to party chat.
- Are willingly ignoring me or other party members.
- Are selecting "Need" on everything that drops.

I mean, look - if you are so unhappy with grouping with random players, please stop. If I'm in a bad mood, I will stop playing for a few hours and find something else to do. Please do the same or I will let you die.

I'd much rather group with a new low-level tank that respects the team over an asshole tank that thinks he (or she) is invulnerable. Have some respect.

(And if you are a warlock that constantly pulls aggro, expect to die).

The Blood Council

Tonight we beat the Blood Council. It was a difficult fight but I have to give props to the warlock. He performed well and I had no reason to let him die.

Learning it all over again.

So last night we attempted Icecrown Citadel with 25 raid members. We've done this numerous times and we are pretty good about making it all the way to Rotface on the first night. Festergut is usually an easy fight.

But for some reason last night, certain raid members could not remember how to defeat Festergut. Specifically, an overzealous DPS paladin decided she could tank before the tank attacked. One-shot FTW! She annoys me and this death really made me giggle. Then, when she was affected by the spore, she ran to a group that already had a member with the spore. Needless to say, several members were not inoculated. Can you say raid wipe?

But once we finally found our groove, it was an easy fight. It looks as if we will grace Rotface with our presence tonight.

Tonight we try again...

My group of 10 adventurers will enter Icecrown Citadel, once more. We're hoping to be as successful as we were before. I've got some new gear so I feel more confident than ever. I'm testing some new shoulders but they have a little lower haste rating than the ones I wore last time we entered the Citadel. I guess we'll see how well they work for me.

If I have to sacrifice someone, I guess the warlock will have to go.

Lord Jaraxxus Must Die!

Archmage Timear has foreseen a horrible event, which is about to transpire. A foolish gnome warlock is about to accidentally summon an Eredar lord of the Burning Legion into the middle of the Trial of the Crusader.

You must be there when it happens, Priest. If Lord Jaraxxus escapes, he will open a portal and the Burning Legion will spill forth into our world once more.

The Council of Six has decreed that Lord Jaraxxus must die!

And he did. But it took two attempts because one of the tanks decided that the worms could be tanked facing my raid group. Silly tank.

I was wrong. We were overpowered. And I let the warlock die anyway.
Tonight we enter the Crimson Quarter for the first time. Tension is high but we still feel exuberant abut the events of the last 24 hours. We can do this.

Except for the warlock. I think I'll let him die.
